I've spent much of my life around the military.

I served in the United States Air Force, and over the years I've had the privilege of helping hundreds of military members begin their investing journey.

Many of us didn't grow up learning about money. Some came from small towns with limited opportunities. Some came from families where every dollar went toward paying the bills. Others had parents who worked hard but were never taught much about investing themselves.

By the time we reached adulthood, many of us knew how to work hard—but not necessarily how to build wealth.
